Meet the Cats!
Welcome! You may have stumbled upon this page from the About Me page, or from my Reef on Twitch! Either way, you are interested in meeting the cats. I don't blame you! They are my light and joy.
First up are the sisters Phobos and Deimos! They are currently, as of 2023, 7 years old. Their monikers of Fear and Panic suit them, as they are somewhat feral. They were the longest waiting shelter kittens at my local Humane Society, having waited four months to be adopted. Nowadays they tolerate being petted, but only on their terms.

In this picture you see Simba, who is my oldest cat. He is 13 years old! Next to him is Honey, who is one of my youngest. She is only 2. Simba I acquired via a rather nasty breakup with my ex-fiance. He wanted the ring so I got the cat. I came out ahead. Honey there, and her sister, I adopted a few months after my father died. They have been a great comfort.

Finally, here we see Smoke and Peaches. These two are the biggest partners in crime. If something is going down in the house, these two are behind it, 100%. Peaches is a feline vacuum cleaner, sucking up any and all objects, which definitely has gotten her in trouble a few times. Smoke is 4, and I adopted him after the breakup with the fiance. Peaches is the sister to Honey! Aside from Simba, Peaches is the lorgest of my cats at 19 pounds (8.6 kg)! One time she stood on the power button to the Reef computer and wiped the hard drive. It took over six hours to restore it from a ten day old back up.
